Terms and conditions for using VibeRails software.

SuperDangerous has developed VibeRails, a desktop application for AI-powered code review and analysis of software codebases. VibeRails orchestrates third-party AI command-line tools installed on the user's machine to perform code review, issue detection, and automated fix sessions.
The VibeRails application, together with any printed or online documentation provided with it by SuperDangerous, is referred to below as the "Licensed Software" and is licensed under this End User License Agreement ("Agreement").
SuperDangerous is willing to provide a limited license of the Licensed Software to you only on the condition that you accept all of the terms in this Agreement. Please read the terms and conditions carefully before downloading or using the Licensed Software.
By downloading, installing, or using the Licensed Software, you acknowledge that you have read this Agreement and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions. If you are installing the Licensed Software on behalf of, or for the benefit of, an organisation or other end user, you represent that you are authorised to accept the terms of this Agreement on their behalf.
If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, do not download, install, or use the Licensed Software.
Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, SuperDangerous hereby grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive, limited license to install, use, and execute the Licensed Software on a single machine. "Machine" means one physical or virtual computer on which the Licensed Software is installed.
For the free version of the Licensed Software, the license is granted at no charge and is subject to the usage limits described in Section 5.
For the paid version of the Licensed Software (the "Pro License"), the license is granted upon payment of the applicable license fee and entitles the licensee to one year of software updates from the date of purchase. After the update period expires, the version of the Licensed Software installed at that time continues to function indefinitely under the terms of this Agreement.
Apart from the license expressly granted herein, no license or other right is granted by SuperDangerous to you under this Agreement, either directly or by implication, estoppel, or otherwise (including, but not limited to, the right to prepare derivative works). You shall have no right or access to the source code of the Licensed Software.
You shall not:
VibeRails is designed to orchestrate third-party AI command-line interface (CLI) tools, including but not limited to Anthropic's Claude Code and OpenAI's Codex CLI, that are installed on your machine. When you initiate a code review or fix session, VibeRails sends source code files from your project to these third-party AI services via the CLI tools on your machine.
You acknowledge and agree that:
You are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining your own subscriptions, API keys, or other access credentials for any third-party AI service providers used by VibeRails. SuperDangerous is not responsible if your account with any AI service provider is suspended, rate-limited, throttled, or terminated for any reason, including but not limited to usage patterns, volume of requests, violation of the provider's terms, or any other cause.
AI-generated code review findings, suggestions, fixes, and any other output produced by third-party AI services through VibeRails are provided as suggestions only. SuperDangerous makes no warranty or representation regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or safety of any AI-generated code analysis, recommendations, or modifications. You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and testing any AI-generated output before applying it to your codebase.
VibeRails processes source code locally on your machine. When AI review sessions or fix sessions are initiated, relevant source code files are transmitted to third-party AI service providers as determined by your project configuration and the AI CLI tools installed on your machine.
You acknowledge that you are responsible for:
You shall use all commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that any persons using the Licensed Software under your license comply with the terms of this Agreement.
You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to maintain the security of your machine, including keeping the Licensed Software, the operating system, and any third-party AI CLI tools up to date with the latest available versions and security patches.
The free version of the Licensed Software is subject to usage limits, which as of the date of this Agreement are:
These limits may be changed by SuperDangerous at its sole discretion at any time, with or without notice. The Pro License removes all usage limits.
SuperDangerous shall have no obligation to provide technical support except as may be offered voluntarily or as provided under a separate support agreement.
The license fee for the Pro License is paid as a one-time purchase in consideration of the license granted under this Agreement. The license fee covers the Licensed Software only and does not include any costs associated with third-party AI service subscriptions, API usage, or any other third-party services.
SuperDangerous retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Licensed Software, including all intellectual property rights therein. You shall not have any right, title, or interest in the Licensed Software except as expressly provided in this Agreement.
You agree that you shall not contest or challenge, or take any action inconsistent with or that may damage or impair, SuperDangerous's ownership or intellectual property rights in the Licensed Software.
You acknowledge that the Licensed Software contains valuable trade secrets of SuperDangerous and you agree to maintain the confidentiality of the Licensed Software using at least the same degree of care you use with your own confidential information.
The Licensed Software may include third-party open source components. Additional copyright notices and license terms applicable to such components are provided with the Licensed Software. The disclaimer of warranty and limitation of liability provisions in this Agreement apply to all third-party components included in the Licensed Software.
SuperDangerous licenses the Licensed Software "as is" and makes no express or implied warranty of any kind. SuperDangerous specifically disclaims all implied warranties to the full extent allowed by applicable law, including without limitation all implied warranties of non-infringement, merchantability, title, or fitness for any particular purpose. No oral or written information or advice given by SuperDangerous, its agents, or employees shall create a warranty.
You acknowledge that you have not relied on future availability of any features, updates, or services in making any payment or entering into any payment obligation related to the Licensed Software.
Neither SuperDangerous nor any of its officers, directors, agents, employees, or representatives shall be liable for indirect, special, incidental, consequential, statutory, or punitive damages or penalties (including damages for lost profits, lost business, loss of use, lost or corrupted data, data breaches arising from third-party AI service providers, business interruption, or similar losses), however arising, whether for breach, indemnity, warranty, operation of law, in tort, or otherwise, even if SuperDangerous has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event shall SuperDangerous's total monetary liability in connection with this Agreement or the Licensed Software exceed the amount paid by you to SuperDangerous for the Licensed Software.
You shall indemnify and hold harmless SuperDangerous from and against all losses, claims, damages, or liabilities of any nature (including reasonable legal fees) arising directly or indirectly from:
This Agreement is effective upon your first download, installation, or use of the Licensed Software and shall continue until terminated.
You may terminate this Agreement at any time by uninstalling and destroying all copies of the Licensed Software.
SuperDangerous may terminate this Agreement upon a material breach by you, by giving 10 days' prior written notice of termination stating the cause. Termination becomes effective at the close of said 10-day period if the breach is not cured to the satisfaction of SuperDangerous.
Upon termination, you shall immediately cease all use of the Licensed Software and destroy all copies in your possession.
Under no circumstances may you use the "VibeRails" or "SuperDangerous" trademarks, or any other trademark or service mark of SuperDangerous, to identify goods or services provided by you, except as expressly agreed to by SuperDangerous in writing.
You may not assign this Agreement or your rights and obligations under this Agreement without the prior written consent of SuperDangerous. SuperDangerous may assign this Agreement without your consent.
The Licensed Software may be subject to export control laws and may be subject to export or import regulations in various countries. You agree to comply strictly with all such regulations and acknowledge that you have the responsibility to obtain any licenses required to export, re-export, or import the Licensed Software.
This Agreement comprises the entire agreement between the parties relating to its subject matter. It supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral. This Agreement can be amended or modified only by a writing executed by duly authorised representatives of each party.
A waiver of any breach or default of this Agreement shall not constitute a waiver of the term itself or of any subsequent breach or default.
This Agreement and the rights, obligations, and relations of the parties shall be construed and determined in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any action arising from or relating to this Agreement shall be commenced and heard solely within a court of competent jurisdiction within the Republic of Ireland, and both parties consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in any such court.
Should any term or provision of this Agreement be determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be void, invalid, unenforceable, or contrary to law, the offending term shall be modified or limited (or if strictly necessary, deleted) only to the extent required to conform to the requirements of law. The remainder of this Agreement shall not be affected and shall be enforced to the greatest extent permitted by law.
